Safety

Meeting new people should feel safe. Here’s how the service works, and what to do when meeting someone.
How we protect you
- Area, never your spot. We show “Tiong Bahru” or “Seoul”, never coordinates or distances, so nobody can pinpoint you.
- Mutual and opt-in. You see people nearby only while they can see you, and only if you both turned on Nearby.
- Ideas before photos. Photos and full profiles appear only after you both say yes.
- Check-ins expire on their own, and your area can change at most four times a day.
- Scam warnings. Chats that mention moving to WhatsApp or Telegram, money, crypto or investing show a warning.
- Block and report in one tap. Blocking works both ways, at once. A person reviews every report.
- Women-only cards are seen only by women.
When you meet
- Meet in a busy public place, and get there and home on your own.
- Tell a friend who you’re meeting, where and when.
- Keep chatting here until you feel comfortable sharing your number.
- Never send money, gift cards or crypto to someone you met online, whatever the story.
