In one line

Now I’m Open is a free web app where adults say what they’re open to (a coffee chat about an idea, a run, company while travelling, or a date) and meet like-minded people nearby, with area-level location only and photos hidden until both people say yes.

Facts

• Launched in Singapore in October 2026, on the web at nowimopen.com.
• Three modes: Ideas, Friends and Date, kept strictly apart.
• Covers 39 areas of Singapore and 46 cities for travellers.
• Location is shown by area only and check-ins expire on their own; expired check-ins are deleted within 72 hours.
• Free during launch.

Story angles

• Loneliness among young adults in Singapore, and the shift from swiping to meeting over shared interests.
• Solo travellers looking for safe company abroad.
• Privacy by design: why the app never shows distance or exact location.
