Good places to meet

  • Sports bars at Clarke Quay, Robertson Quay and Holland Village: Book a table for big games.
  • Community clubs: Some CCs hold public screenings for big tournaments.
  • Kopitiams with TVs: Many show live matches, and the atmosphere is free.

Tips

  • European matches often start late at night in Singapore. Say the kick-off time.
  • Book a table for derbies and finals.
  • Say which team you support. It saves awkward moments.

Questions

Can I post for a match at home?

Meet somewhere public for a first meet, like a bar or kopitiam. Home watch parties are for people you already know.

What about F1 race weekend?

See our race weekend page for watch-along ideas, or post a card for a bar near the circuit.

Do I need to drink?

No. Kopitiams and cafés show games too. Say 'no alcohol' in the card if you prefer.
