Poly and ITE
Study kaki, project buddies and cheap eats near campusStudy kaki at the library tonight?
For polytechnic and ITE students aged 18 and over. Post a card for a revision session, a group project café meet or a cheap dinner near campus, and meet students nearby who are open to the same thing.
Post your first cardHow it works
Free · 18+ · Area only, never your exact spot
For adults 18 and over. You confirm your age when you sign up.
Why it works
- Post exactly what you need, like a study kaki for one module, instead of joining a big group chat.
- Your location shows by area only, like Clementi or Tampines, never your campus block.
- You choose who joins, and chat opens only when you both say yes.
- It's free, so it costs nothing to try during exam season.

Good places to meet
- Public libraries: NLB libraries are free, air-conditioned and quiet, with study tables and Wi-Fi.
- Hawker centres near campus: Clementi, Ang Mo Kio and Tampines all have busy hawker centres close to the MRT.
- Community clubs: Many CCs have study corners and bookable courts.
- Mall food courts: Easy to find, busy and cheap for a first meet.
Tips
- Now I'm Open is for people aged 18 and over only. You confirm your age when you sign up.
- Meet in a public place like a library or hawker centre, not a hostel room or home.
- Say which module or project you want help with. Specific cards get more I'm-ins.
- Keep money out of it. Never lend or send money to someone you just met.
Questions
Can I join if I'm 17?
No. Now I'm Open is only for adults aged 18 and over, and you confirm your date of birth when you sign up.
Do people see which campus I'm at?
No. We only show an area, like Clementi or Tampines. You can mention your school in a card if you want to.
Is it only for studying?
Not at all. Post anything you're open to: a run, a supper, a board game night or a chat about your next step after graduating.
